Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Slacks Creek 5 February

A 30-year-old Bethania man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Slacks Creek this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate just before 7am, the man was travelling southbound on Compton Road when the motorbike he was riding collided with a red Nissan hatchback, which was travelling northbound.

Police and emergency services attended however the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 64-year-old Slacks Creek woman who was driving the car was not injured in the incident.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage is urged to contact police.
