A man has died in a single vehicle traffic crash west of Childers yesterday afternoon.
Around 5.15pm a sedan was travelling east on the Isis Highway at Eureka when the vehicle has left the road and travelled along a culvert before hitting a tree.
The 28-year-old man was a passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene.
A three-and-a-half-month old baby was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a serious head injury.
The driver, a 25-year-old woman, was transported to the Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
