A man has died in a single vehicle crash south of Gordonvale yesterday afternoon (May 24).
Preliminary investigations indicate around 5pm a 4WD was travelling north on the Bruce Highway at Deeral when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and rolled on an embankment.
The driver and sole occupant, a 61-year-old Innisfail man, died at the scene.
