Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Milford

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Milford last night (February 11).

Initial investigations indicate around 11:50pm, a Toyota Corolla hatchback was travelling along Wimmers Hill Road before it collided with a tree.

A 20-year-old Boonah man, the driver of the vehicle, suffered critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

A 14-year-old boy, a passenger in the vehicle, was airlifted from the scene to Queensland Children's Hospital in a critical condition.

A 18-year-old Cannon Creek man and 14-year-old boy, were transported to Ipswich Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and is appealing to anyone with information or relevant dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward.
