Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Coolana

A man has died following a single vehicle motorcycle crash on Lowood Minden Road at Coolana.

Police were called to the location after the rider was located beside his motorcycle at around 10.45am this morning by a member of the public.

Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle was travelling south along Lowood Minden Road sometime between 8.15pm and 10.00pm last night (September 23) when it left the road and crashed.

The rider, 42-year-old Regency Downs man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
