A single vehicle crash near Mareeba claimed the life of a 21-year-old local man today.
A passing motorist found an overturned vehicle on Fassio Road around 9am this morning (September 11).
The driver and sole occupant of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
