Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Mckinlay

Two men have died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Mckinlay, east of Mt Isa this morning.

Just after 7:30am, a car was travelling along the Landsborough Highway when it lost control and rolled.

The 26-year-old male driver and the 33-year-old male passenger, both from Harristown, were both

pronounced deceased at the scene.

The second passenger, a 37-year-old male from Charleville, was transported to Cloncurry Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
