Police are investigating a fatal traffic incident at Natural Bridge this morning, which resulted in the death of a 28-year-old motorcyclist.
Preliminary information indicates that just before 10.10am, the man was involved in a verbal altercation with two men on Nerang Murwillumbah Road at Numinbah Valley.
The man then boarded his motorcycle and rode southbound along Nerang Murwillumbah for approximately three kilometres where he crashed.
The 28-year-old Bracalba man sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
The Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed something suspicious - or anyone with dash-camera vision - along Nerang Murwillumbah Road in the vicinity of Numinbah Valley and Natural Bridge between 9.30am and 10.30am today, to come forward.
