Police responding to serious traffic crash at Narangba 17 June

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in Narangba this afternoon, June 17.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 2pm, two motorbikes were travelling east along Boundary Road when they made contact, causing one of the riders to crash into a red station wagon.

The rider, a 22-year-old Griffin man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The driver and sole occupant of the station wagon, a 57-year-old woman, was not physically injured and is assisting police with their inquiries.

The second motorbike left the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
