Police responding to serious traffic crash at Thornlands

Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle traffic crash in Thornlands this evening.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 7.30pm a Tesla was travelling along Cleveland Redland Bay Road when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 14-year-old boy, was transported to hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle was physically unharmed.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
