Police responding to serious traffic crash at Moreton

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious two vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Lawnton last night, December 22.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 7.30pm, a scooter and a car collided at the corner of Gympie Road and Lawnton Pocket Road.

The scooter rider, a 28-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is assisting police with inquiries.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
