Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Goodna 5 January

Police are investigating a three-vehicle traffic crash in Goodna this afternoon, 5 January.

Initial investigations indicate at 3.30pm, a black Yamaha motorbike was travelling north along Queen Street when it attempted to overtake a vehicle and collided with a stationary silver Mitsubishi Pajero before striking a black Ford Focus that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The motorbike rider, a 32-year-old Redbank Plains man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the Ford, a 44-year-old Goodna man, was not physically injured.

There was no one inside the Pajero at the time of the incident.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
