The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious single motorbike traffic crash at Gracemere on Thursday, 27 February.
Around 1am, emergency services were called to Johnson Road following reports a blue Kawasaki motorcycle had lost control and crashed.
The rider, a 31-year-old Mount Morgan man, was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
The Rockhampton Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
