Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Bundaberg 8 March

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a serious traffic crash at Gregory River last night, 7 March.

Initial investigations indicate about 9.45pm, a white Mitsubishi Pajero and a gold Nissan Patrol were travelling in opposite directions on Childers Road before colliding head on.

The driver of the Nissan, a 43-year-old Gympie woman was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Pajero, a 25-year-old Gooburrum woman and sole passenger, a 58-year-old Gooburrum woman both sustained minor injuries and were transported to Bundaberg Hospital as a precaution.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
