Police responding to serious traffic crash at Loganholme 20 October

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at Loganholme this morning, which resulted in a motorcycle rider sustaining critical injuries.

Preliminary investigations indicate that around 8.48am, a black and green 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling eastbound along Bryants Road when it collided with a gold 2003 Nissan Pulsar sedan which was turning at the intersection of Torres Street.

A 28-year-old Tingalpa man riding the motorcycle rider sustained significant injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The 17-year-old female driver of Nissan, 59-year-old male passenger and 15-year old female passenger all received minor injuries and were transported to Logan Hospital for treatment.

The Forensic Crash Unit is now appealing to any witnesses – or anyone who may have captured dash-camera footage in relation to this incident - to come forward.

Investigations continue.
