Police responding to serious traffic crash at Highgate Hill

A woman has sustained critical injuries following a traffic crash at Highgate Hill last night (Thursday, July 28).

Just after 6pm a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Gladstone Road and Park Road West.

The pedestrian, a woman in her fifties, was transported in a critical condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 70-year-old Dutton Park man, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
