Police responding to serious traffic crash at Bundaberg

Forensic Crash Unit officers continue to investigate a serious traffic crash in Bundaberg on August 30.

Around 6.45pm a car was driving south on Barolin Street when it has hit a pedestrian who was crossing Barolin Street near the intersection of Mcmannie Street.

The pedestrian, a Bundaberg man in his forties, was transported to the Bundaberg Hospital before been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

The man passed away on September 7 as result of the injuries sustained from the crash.

The driver of the car, a Moore Park woman, was not physically injured in the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
