Police responding to serious traffic crash at Chahpingah

Police are investigating a serious, two-vehicle crash at Chahpinga yesterday afternoon.

Information suggests two vehicles collided on Kingaroy Burrandowan Road just before 1pm.

The 31-year-old male driver and sole occupant of one of the cars was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries.

The 39-year-old female driver from the other car was not injured during the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
