Police responding to serious traffic crash at Woodstock

Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash in Woodstock yesterday afternoon.

Around 2.30pm on the Flinders Highway, a car travelling south collided with a truck and then collided with another truck.

The driver of the car, a 64-year-old woman from Charters Towers, was transported by helicopter to Townsville University Hospital in a critical condition.

The truck drivers were not physically injured.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
