Police search for missing boy, Southport

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old boy reported missing at Southport this evening (September 18).

He was last seen at approximately 7.50pm leaving a park on Kuranga Avenue.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and may be disoriented.

A search is underway in the Southport area utilising POLAIR and police on foot.

The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance with a pale complexion, approximately 170cm tall with a solid build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and black shorts.

Police ask residents in the area to check their yards and properties, and urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to urgently contact police.
