Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Mariae.
The 71-year-old was last seen leaving her leaving her Geelong address about 12pm today.
Police and family have concerns for Mariae's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
Mariae is described as being about 167cm tall with a thin/medium build and short grey hair.
She was last seen wearing a tan-coloured long-sleeved shirt, dark blue shorts and sneakers as pictured.
It's believed she might be carrying a pink purse and wearing a blue bum bag.
Mariae is known to frequent walking tracks around the Geelong area and may use public transport.
Anyone who sights Mariae is urged to contact Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
