Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Lionel.
The 53-year-old Fawkner man, who also goes by the name Patrick, last had contact with family via a phone call about 5pm on 2 September.
Police and family are concerned for Lionel's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
He is about 175cm tall with a solid build, tanned complexion, black/grey hair, dark eyes, and has black/grey facial hair.
An image of Lionel has been released in the hope someone may recognise him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Lionel or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Fawkner Police Station on 9335 6000.
