Police search for missing South Melbourne girl Safira

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing girl Safira.

The 12-year-old was last seen at Balaclava Railway Station about 9pm on Friday, 12 November.

Police and family are concerned for their welfare due to her age.

Safira is about 150cm tall, with a slim build, olive skin, brown shoulder length hair, and dark brown eyes.

She last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket with a large rooster on the back and grey tracksuit pants and may be carrying a grey school bag with yellow piping.

She may be in the company of missing girl Hailie-Lee.

An image of Safira has been released in the hope someone may recognise her and provide information on her whereabouts.

She is known to frequent the Port Phillip, Bayside and Melbourne council areas.

Anyone who sees Safira or has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact South Melbourne Police Station on 9257 3800.
