Police search for missing swimmer - Murray River

A search is underway for a man who went missing while swimming in the Murray River on the border of New South Wales and Victoria.

About 7.10am (Sunday 1 March 2020), emergency services were called after a man dived under the water and did not resurface, in Mildura, Victoria.

Friends attempted to search for the man but were unsuccessful.

Officers from Barrier Police District attended and have commenced a search of the area today.

They'll be assisted by Police Divers, PolAir and the SES.
