Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Rythma.
The 16-year-old was last seen leaving her school in Glen Iris about 9am today.
She left her school bag and personal belongings behind and has not been seen since.
Police and family have concerns for Rythma due to her age and a medical condition.
Investigators believe Rythma may frequent local parks in the Malvern and Mount Waverley areas.
An image of Rythma has been released in the hope someone may recognise her.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Mount Waverley Police Station on (03) 9888 3755.
