Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Altona woman Mary Cassar.
The 59-year-old was last seen in the Altona area about 4pm yesterday and it is believed she may have visited the Geelong area.
She has not been seen since or in touch with family.
It is believed she may be driving her grey Ford Focus, registration ZYO 784.
Police and family hold concerns for Mary's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
Investigators have released an image of Mary in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Mary is urged to contact Altona North Police Station on 9392 3111.
