Police search for Morgan Ferry passenger, South Australia

Police are appealing for any information from the public that may assist a search for a ferry passenger at Morgan.

The man was seen to walk onto the Morgan Ferry at 2.05pm on Wednesday 9 November and sat on a bench.

When the ferry reached the other (eastern) side, he was not seen to disembark.

The man is described as of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s, about 170cm tall, with long dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He was carrying a black backpack.

Police and emergency services are currently searching the area for the missing man.

Ferry services have been suspended temporarily.

Police would like to speak to any passengers on the ferry who may have seen the man or have any information that may assist.

Police would also like to speak to the occupants of a grey Nissan Pathfinder that was on the ferry at the time.

They are asked to contact the police assistance line on 131 444.
