Victoria Police is appealing for public assistance to help locate registered sex offender Russell Jones.
The 40-year-old is wanted on warrant for failing to comply with his reporting obligations.
Investigators believe Jones is currently living in the Lilydale area however he is actively avoiding police.
Jones is also known to frequent the Windsor, St Kilda, South Yarra and Melbourne CBD areas.
Jones last had contact with authorities on 25 February.
Investigators have released an image of Jones in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Jones is approximately 171cm tall, with a thin build, brown eyes and short dark, greying hair.
Anyone who sights Jones is urged to contact triple zero (000) immediately.
