Police search for Southbank burglar

Investigators from the Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a burglar following a break-in at an apartment complex in Southbank last month.

Detectives believe a man entered the Riverside Quay building at 6.15pm on 16 February and again at 9.15pm on 18 February.

On both occasions the offender broke into storage cages and stole a bicycle. On the second occasion he also stole a battery charger.

Investigators have released an image of the man that they believe may assist with their enquiries.
