Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old girl missing from Mount Gravatt East.

The girl (pictured) was last seen at Mount Gravatt East Thursday morning, April 20.

Police and the girl's family hold concerns for her welfare.

The missing child may be in the Springfield area.

She is described as 165cm tall with dark hair and brown eyes.

Police appeal to the girl or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact police.
