Police Seek Elderly Man Missing From Pyrmont

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the Pyrmont area.

Ross Evans, aged 81, was last seen in Harris Street, Pyrmont, about 12.30pm today (Monday 27 July 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to him living with dementia.

Ross is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 170cm-175cm tall, of slim build, with grey hair on the sides of his head and bald on top, and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a brown/orange Kathmandu fleece jumper, a green shirt, and green camouflage pants.

Police believe Ross is travelling on foot around the Pyrmont and surrounding areas.
