On behalf of the United States of America, I extend our congratulations to the people of Zambia on the 62nd anniversary of its independence.
Our two nations share a friendship grounded in mutual respect that delivers benefits for both our countries. The historic bilateral Health MOU signed by the United States and Zambia exemplifies this partnership. Zambia's potential is tremendous and we look forward to working together on health, commercial investment, and regional security.
On this special occasion, I send my congratulations to Zambia and my best wishes for the year ahead.
