Police seek four offenders after robbery in North Albury

Police are appealing for information after four males robbed a man in North Albury yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 1.30pm on Wednesday 1 November 2017, a 37-year-old man was walking along an alleyway near North Street when he passed four males sitting on the ground.

The males asked the man for a cigarette and as searched his bag he was pushed and punched to the face.

The males walked away taking a quantity of cash from the man.

The man did not require treatment and was able to continue his journey.

The matter was reported to police when the man attended Albury Police Station later in the afternoon.

Officers from Albury Local Area Command have commenced investigations and are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

The males have been described to police as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged in their late teens and wearing sports style clothing.

Additionally one wore a cap while another had a moustache.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Orange Police or Crimes Stoppers.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
