Police seek help to find missing girl at Nerang

Nerang police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an 11-year-old girl.

The girl was last seen around 8am today (Thursday, February 18) at her Nerang home by family.

When she failed to arrive at school her family were contacted.

Preliminary information suggests the girl may be in company with other youths.

Police and family hold concerns for her safety and well being due to her young age and this being out of character.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 150cms tall with a slim build, blue eyes and blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue school uniform.

The girl, or anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts, or who may have seen her, is urged to contact police (details below).
