Police seek help to find missing girl at Nerang 11 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Nerang since November 26.

The girl was last seen leaving a Debbie Way address around lunchtime to go on a camping trip to New South Wales.

She then made phone contact with family on December 1 but has not been heard from since.

The girl is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 155 centimetres tall with blonde hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black top and ripped grey jeans and was carrying a black and yellow bag.

While her current whereabouts are unknown, the girl is believed to be back in southeast Queensland.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare due to her young age.

Police are appealing to the girl, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to come forward.
