Police seek help to find missing man at Brisbane City area

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 18-year-old Zhengjie Yu who was last seen in South Brisbane yesterday (Tuesday, November 19).

Zhengjie, who is an international student was last seen around 9am at Southbank TAFE, Merivale Street, South Brisbane.

It is believed he may have been in the Brisbane CBD, possibly in Albert and Queen streets around 7pm last night (November 19).

Police and family hold serious concerns for Zhengjies' safety and wellbeing as his behaviour yesterday was out of character and he has not contacted family or friends.

Zhengjie has limited knowledge of Brisbane having only been here for three months and is living in Macgregor.

He is described as Chinese, approximately 175cms tall with a slim build and short black hair. Zhengjie speaks broken English with his primary language Mandarin.

Anyone who has any information in relation to Zhengjie's current whereabouts, or anyone who has seen him, is asked to immediately contact police.
