Police seek help to find missing man at Emerald

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 79-year-old Rubyvale man reported missing in Emerald.

Siegfried Becker (pictured), known as 'Siggy', was reported missing on Friday March 11, after failing to return from a trip to Emerald.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and his behaviour is out of character.

He was last seen on Anakie Street in Emerald at approximately 1.30pm on Friday March 11, wearing long beige pants and a long-sleeved shirt.

Mr Becker is known to hitchhike between Rubyvale and Emerald, and also uses buses.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build, grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
