Police seek help to find missing man at Mareeba

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 37-year-old Kane Hoppner, reported missing yesterday afternoon from Mareeba.

Kane was last seen around 9:30pm on Wednesday, August 17, on Walsh Street and last had contact with family around 10:15pm that same night.

Police and family are concerned for his safety as he has medical and mental health conditions, and the disappearance is out of character.

Kane is described as Caucasian in appearance, 170cm tall with a slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes. He was also last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, cheque shorts and belt, black jogger shoes, trucker's cap with the letters NY on the front.

Police are appealing for Kane or anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.
