Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 79-year-old man reported missing in the Merrimac area.
Gerald Parkes (pictured) was last seen at an address on Petherbridge Avenue at 4pm yesterday.
He has not made contact with family or friends since.
Police hold concerns for Gerald's welfare due to a medical condition.
A search of the area is currently underway in an attempt to locate Mr Parkes.
Gerald is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm, with a medium build, short-balding grey hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be wearing black shorts and t-shirt.
His exact whereabouts are unknown, however, he is believed to be on foot in the local area. Residents in the area are asked to check their yards for Gerald.
