Police will today commence a search operation in Moogerah to find missing man Francis Ward (pictured).
Francis was last seen yesterday at around 5:30pm leaving an address on Mount Alford Road.
Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.
Francis is described as Caucasian, 176cm in height, with grey hair and moustache.
He is believed to be wearing a blue and yellow, high-visibility, shirt.
The search will be conducted with the assistance of the State Emergency Service and focus on bushland near where Francis was last seen.
Police are urging Francis, or anyone with information of his whereabouts, to contact them immediately.
