Police seek help to find missing man at Mount Isa 22 November

Police are asking for immediate public assistance to help locate 33-year-old Anthony Crafter (pictured) missing from Mount Isa.

He was last seen at a rest stop on the Barkly Highway, roughly 50 kilometres north-west of Mount Isa, around 1am this morning (November 22).

Police and family have concerns for his welfare and believe he may be insufficiently prepared for the harsh conditions of north-west Queensland.

Anthony is described as 178cm in height, of light brown complexion, with short brown hair and beard.

He was last seen wearing a white and blue shirt, shorts, and blue sneakers.

Anthony has connections in Tennant Creek and may attempt to hitch-hike his way there.

Police are urging Anthony, or anyone else with information on his whereabouts, to contact them.
