Police seek help to find missing person at Surf Beach, near Batemans Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's south coast.

David Lane, aged 54, was last seen by family on Sunday (18 August 2019), when he left his home in Surf Beach, near Batemans Bay.

He has not been seen since this time, with family and police holding serious concerns for his welfare.

Today (Friday 23 August 2019), police, assisted by specialist resources, searched an area on the western side of Haycocks Road, Pambula Beach, after information received suggested the missing person may have been in that area.

However, Mr Lane has still not been located. He is described as Caucasian appearance, with a medium build and light brown hair.
