Police Seek Help To Find Missing Woman At Central West

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate an 81-year-old woman reported missing between Emerald and Ilfracombe since yesterday afternoon, 19 March.

Lynette Cecile Freestone, pictured, was last seen leaving Emerald around 3.30pm in a white Mitsubishi Outlander station wagon, and believed to be heading in the direction of Ilfracombe, approximately 30km east of Longreach.

She has not been seen or heard from since that time.

Police and family hold concerns for Lynette's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.

Lynette is Caucasian, proportionate build, and approximately 163cm tall, with grey hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a bright orange shirt and glasses and driving a white Mitsubishi Outlander station wagon.

Police are appealing to Lynette, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, to come forward.
