Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Yulang Ty.
The 85-year-old woman was last seen this morning in Noble Park about 8am.
She set out on a walk at 8am this morning and has failed to return to the property she is staying at hin Baldwin Avenue.
Yulang is visiting from Cambodia and she does not speak English.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare due to her age and length of time she has been missing as her disappearance is out of character.
Yulang is described as about 153cm tall with a thin build and grey hair.
She was wearing black pants and a white knitted jumper with a dark blue beanie and black sandals.
Anyone who sees Yulang is urged to contact Springvale Police Station on 8558 8600.
