Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal hit and run collision in Roxburgh Park today.
Investigators understand a pedestrian was struck by a white sedan on Silvester Parade and Pinnock Avenue about 11.15am.
The yet to be identified pedestrian died at the scene.
The car did not stop and continued travelling east along Silvester Parade towards Roxburgh Park Drive.
Silvester Parade will be closed in both directions.
