Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to locate missing Bulleen woman Paula.
Police have been told the 81-year-old was with her husband at a café on the corner of Burgandy Street and Lower Heidelberg Road about 7pm last night.
She left the cafe to go for a short walk with her dog and failed to return.
Police and family have concerns for Paula due to a medical condition.
It is likely she will be confused by her surroundings.
Paula is Caucasian, with a slight build and grey hair.
She was last seen wearing a bright blue top, black pants and walking her white fluffy dog with a pink lead.
Local police with the assistance of Air Wing, Search and Rescue and SES will be searching parklands north of Templestowe Road and the surrounding area including along the Yarra River.
Police have released an image of Paula and her dog in the hopes someone may have information on her whereabouts.
