Police seek help to locate missing man Andrew

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Andrew who has dementia.

The 78-year-old was last seen at Williamstown Hospital on Railway Crescent about 10.30am this morning.

Andrew is described as being Caucasian, about 160cm tall with a solid build.

He was last seen wearing a green beanie, white woollen top, black tracksuit pants, runners and may be carrying a green shopping bag.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age, the cold weather and his dementia.

It's possible Andrew may be trying to return to his previous home in Wyndham Vale.

He has previously been located at Southern Cross Railway Station, Wyndham Vale Railway Station and Churchill Avenue in Braybrook.

Police have released an image of Andrew in the hope someone may know of his current whereabouts.

Anyone with information or anyone that may know of Andrew's whereabouts is urged to contact Williamstown Police Station on 9393 955.
