Police seek help to locate missing man Edward

Police are currently searching and appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Belmont man Edward.

The 28-year-old was last seen on Laura Avenue about 8am on Thursday, 2 March.

His vehicle was located on Ellimatta Road in Anglesea yesterday afternoon.

Police and family are concerned for Edward's welfare due to his medical condition and his disappearance being out of character.

Local police units are searching the area with assistance from the police Air Wing, Search and Rescue Squad and Life Saving Victoria.

An image of Edward has been released in the hope someone will come forward with information about his current whereabouts.

Edward is described as being about 180cm tall, of solid build with short brown wavy hair.

He was last seen wearing an orange top, dark cargo pants and work boots.
