Police are appealing for public assistance to help find missing Sunshine North man Hong Ngo.
Hong was last seen at his Tudor Road home about 5.30pm.
He left on foot and has not been seen since.
Hong was wearing black pants and a black jacket with red striped.
Police have concerns for Hong's welfare as he has dementia and requires regular medication.
The Vietnamese born 71-year-old is known to use public transport and speaks broken English.
Police have released an image of Hong in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information about his whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Hong is asked to contact Sunshine Police Station on 9313 3333.
