Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Jon.
The 87-year-old was last seen at a home in Thrice Lane Kurunjang on Monday.
When a family member returned to the home around 3pm Jon was missing.
Police and family members are concerned for Jon due to his age and as he lives with dementia.
Jon is also not fit to drive however is believed to have left the residence in a white 2003 Toyota Camry with registration number SOQ 846.
It is unknown where Jon is headed however police have been told he may travel to Altona North, the suburb of his old work place.
An image of Jon has been released in the hope someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Jon is described as approximately 162cm tall, with a chubby build, he has blue eyes, grey hair cut in a crew style and doesn't wear glasses.
He was last seen wearing a navy-blue long sleeve shirt, black track pants and black slippers with a badge of some sort on them.
